Hi all

Just thought I would do a quick update whilst dinner is cooking (roast chicken) and share a photo that I took on Friday whilst at home so was 33wks 2days :)

I do have a "exposed" belly shot taken as well but don't think I am confident to show all my stark white belly photo! LOL

I know I am not as big as others that are due at the same time and I am carrying low but as long as bubs is healthy then thats the main thing :)

Right have had dinner - it wasn't the best of roast chickens (different brand) but it was still nice. So guess whats for lunch tomorrow?? Yeap roast chicken sandwiches :)

Have had a good weekend and quite productive. Steph finished painting the nursery yesterday which was great whilst I mucked around and did the housework bit by bit. We got an impromptu dinner invite late yesterday so went out with friends to Cafe Romeo in Upper Hutt - had the most amazing lamb shanks for dinner, so it was great food and wine, great company but unfortunately it was ruined by disgusting service!

This morning, we headed back to the Baby Factory to sort out the pram issue - all sorted now. We have taken the floor model was it is in excellent condition and they threw in a free toddler seat (worth $99) as compensation. Okay - we don't know if we are having a second child as yet but if we don't we know it will get a great price on TradeMe :) So have had fun playing with that today.

Steph has been busy putting together the wardrobe for the nursery and cot etc... so whilst I popped out to have a coffee with Helena at Twiglands cafe so it was great to catch up with her :) By the time I had gotten home, Steph had both pieces assembled as well as the bed reassembled and made up with sheets etc, he had the curtain rail up and the curtains up as well, and the drawers etc all in the room! It was amazing how much he had gotten done in the 75mins I was out! We have since done a fair bit more and I have sorted all the clothes and washed all the whites and they are all hanging on the clothes horse in the nursery! It's all sinking in now on how real everything is and how close everything is to happening! Though must get my A into G and pack my bags just in case bubs does decide to make a very early appearance!

But right, best I get going to help Steph with the dishes (god I miss the dishwasher we had in our old place) and then make our sandwiches for tomorrow.

Have a good week everyone.

You busy little bee. I am dying to get bubs room finished, I need to get curtains and a chest of drawers. But I do have my bag packed.

It is so exciting when things are finished - I remember I used to just sit in the kids finished room (before they were born) for hours just looking and letting it all sink in :).

My friend who was due in the first week in November had her little girl a week ago! Six weeks early, so very small, but doing fine.

How many bottles of beer left on the wall??

Glad to hear everything is going well still, although bummer about that insomnia!
