Hi all
Firstly and most importantly I would like to extend my condolences and sincere sympathy to Tania and her husband Josh on the death of their beautiful daughter Georgia on 19th Feb at 10 weeks old. Georgia was born on 9th Dec 2006 at about 34 weeks gestation. She recently had been suffering from a cold and was coming right when she suddenly went down hill very quickly and due to her lungs still being premature and not fully developed she was unable to fight the bugs any longer. Tania, my heart goes out to you, Josh and your extended families. Words can not express how I am feeling right now but please do know if there is anything at all that I can do for you, please let me know. For those of you who know Tarns through the blogging world, please drop by her site and leave her a message as I am sure she would love to hear from you. I would leave a link to her site but she went private last year for various reasons.
As for us, well both Rachel and I are suffering from colds at the moment so have had a very quiet day feeling sorry for ourselves :( I woke with a sore throat on Friday morning and it just progressively got worse throughout the day. And apparently Rachel slept a lot at day care on Friday so perhaps that was the start of her getting her cold too... So have been giving her some pamol as necessary along with tepid baths and lots of cuddles. In fact the only place she would sleep during today was on me which made it hard for me being not well also but these are things we do as a mummy!
Anyway, better get moving and head to bed though Steph is doing the morning feeds this weekend which is great :)

Oh my heart goes out to Tania and Josh, I remember seeing their adorable baby on her blog before she went private... how sad... it kinda makes all our minor upsets seem so trivial now. Is there anyway you can give me her email address as when yoy try to visit her blogsite, one can't get in as it's private.
I have never visited Tania's blog but am so sad to hear this news. I can't imagine what a parent must go through when losing a child. My sincere condolences to them both.
Karen I'm a lurker but enjoy reading your blog and love it when you talk about and post on your wee daughter Rachel. I had visited Tania's blog prior to going private but also was a lurker, I wish now I wasn't. My sincere condolences are with them through this hard time.

How tragic for her family...
Hope you two are feeling better soon...colds with a baby are horrible, aren't they?
Hi Karen
I hope that you and Rachel are feeling much better and that you both have a good week ahead as you both work towards settling into your new routines.
I haven't ever read Tania's blog, but extend my sympathy to her and her family on their very sad loss. Losing a family member is always very hard, but doubly hard when it is a child.
Hope you and Rach are feeling better soon - sharing a cold in this heat is just not nice!!
And thanks for the tribute to Georgia, Tarns and Josh, I was wondering how I could do something similar, but you've done it perfectly.
Oh, hope you are surviving being back at work too, have been thinking about ya.
Really very sad to hear the news about the baby.
Hope you and Rachel are soon feeling a lot better.
Hi Karen
I hope you and Rachel start feeling better soon.
I was so sorry to hear about Georgia. I did visit Tania's blog occasionally and then one time I went to the site and it was blocked. Perhaps you can pass on the condolences of those of us who can't make contact ourselves? They seemed like a lovely couple and I was so pleased for them when Tania got pregnant.
