Before I go into detail - I had my update more or less finished when dinner was ready so thought it would be ok but 15 mins later when I came back it was all gone after the computer did an automatic update! Grrrr I knew I should have saved it as a draft before but oh well lesson learnt I guess.
Yeap like Carla I have made it to 17 weeks! :) So exciting yet so scary as well... well for me anyway :) I have my scan booked for the 17th June so only 17 days to go but I have already mentioned that to you guys so don't want to bore you will with that countdown! LOL
And as requested by a few of you, I have gotten Steph to take some photos of me tonight and as it took me so long in my previous post (which I lost) to get the photos in the right place I will just post this lot at the end of tonights entry. I am still "shy" about posting the bump photo but I guess it had to be done sooner or later. Don't think the top I was wearing today did much for me but too late now :) Oh there is also a photo of the bouncer we got off TradeMe a week or so ago and also a photo of all the baby stuff we have so far - well the containers of the baby stuff anyway. And great news - a very dear friend of mine has offered me her bassinet she had for her boys as a gift from her and her family to me and my family! This offer has really blown me away and reduced me to tears even - gees those god damn pregnancy hormones! LOL We will get it from them later on as they don't live in Wgtn so we are arranging to meet up to do the "exchange". I am so looking forward to that day already....
Work today was pretty full on as L was on leave and once I got my payslips out to my regions, I then tackled L's pile, and then went onto the bosses pile as he was not well and in and out of meetings... then after I got the whole damn countrys payslips I then started on getting my work and L's done as well... so as a "reward" I was allowed to finish at 3pm so that was great and well needed :)
Once I got home, I decided to see if Robyn at the gym was free for a chat... she was so I popped up to see her and had an awesome chat with her! She thinks I am glowing and looking fantastic but I beg to differ! LOL I have also booked in a 1/2 hr massage with the therapist there for 2pm on Friday (since I have the day off) so am looking forward to that.
So a quiet night home alone tonight watching Shorties, and just blobbing out.... right here are the photos before I go.

I must admit after re-reading last nights post I guess I was pretty busy on Sunday but Carla I don't think I have that much energy as I only seem to get it in bursts and never when I should be walking or working! :) And I definitely don't have that "magical glow" just yet.... maybe I will soon if I am lucky. And yes one day I will post a photo on here as well - but I don't have any bump yet just look like I am putting on weight - well I am I know but you know what I mean :)
Work today was great - best close-off we have had for a long time and we had quite a cruisey afternoon. L is on leave tomorrow to go on a school trip with her younger son. I have Friday off on Annual Leave to check out some local day-care centres so am looking forward to that (and the sleep in too).
Am enjoying munching on the muffins and banana loaf that I baked on Sunday evening... Steph is currently making our lunches for tomorrow - nothing exciting - just egg sandwiches :)
Nothing much else to say really - actually heaps more to say but won't bore you all with the details here... catch ya all later

Hi
Ended up having rather a busy day yesterday - having another sleep in till 9.30am then by the time I had showered, had breakfast etc it was almost 11am! Then we spent a couple of hours organising the spare room and bubs room (with the two single beds we had got on Saturday) - still bits to do but they both look a lot better than they did on Friday! Lunch, then a bit more tiding before heading to Lower Hutt to meet a couple of other MTB's (Mums to be) who are friends of mine and before I knew it two hours had zoomed past!!!
Home and made a batch of Banana and Raspberry muffins and also another banana loaf :) Yes I do like bananas but only cooked or in smoothies :) Am not keen on them by themselves... After the baking, it was time for tea (fresh pasta and sauce), then time to run the vacum cleaner through the house, do the dishes and then collapsed in a nice warm bubble bath for a wee while and even persuaded Steph to give me a back rub :) Then it was time for bed... so there was my Sunday :)
Today was a fairly cruisey day for a close-off day so the day went pretty slowly. Had a lovely email from Jude's brother which made my day.
Anyway, time for me to go and make my lunch and organise myself for tomorrow and then head to bed...
Catch ya later :)

Hi ya
Just thought I would do a quick post before heading off to bed as I am not feeling the best - just tired and general blah but nothing a good sleep won't help... Had a great nights sleep last night going to bed just after 9pm and not waking up till 9am this morning! Okay had two toilet stops during that time but no laying there wide awake - just sleep, sleep and more sleep! Am still feeling tired but I guess with the pregnancy thats to be expected... :)
Friday was a full on day at work but at least I am totally up to date and we just have the checking and whatever comes in on Monday to do so looks like its gonna be another easy smooth running payrun ( touch wood). Had Hells Pizza for tea last night - YUM YUM!
Today we haven't done hell of a lot really. It was almost 10.30am before I had breakfast due to my lay in ( didn't actually get out of bed till 9.30ish..) and then having a shower, then deciding what I felt like! LOL We then went and did the groceries and came home and had some lunch (leftover Pizza from last night) before my niece arrived (with some guys from her work) dropping off two single beds that we got from mum (mum got my nieces queensize bed for her spare room and we got mums beds). My sister then arrived and we had a wee chat before her and my niece (her daughter) took off... we then decided to go down to Lower Hutt as I needed to check out some new winter shoes as my boots starting to fall to bits. Ended up getting a pair of boots and a pair of shoes for a total of $49 from No 1 shoewarehouse! Great bargin and both pairs are very comfortable.
We then decided to check out baby prams/buggys at Baby City and Baby Factory. Thought we had found the "one" at Baby City but thought we had better check the Baby Factory before making a decision. Ended up putting one on layby at Baby Factory - Bertini TS Shuttle that normally retails about $580 for only $399 so a great bargin and very exciting and nerve wracking making our first major purchase. It comes with sleeping bag, boot cover, rain cover and also has an adjustable handle - very important with the height difference between Steph and I :)
Hope the pic comes out ok - and the best thing about the pic above (taken from the Bertini website) is exactly the same colours as the one we are getting :)
Anyway, off to bed now. Not too much to planned tomorrow - got to do the housework since we never got it done today and I am meeting two friends (both are pregnant and due in August) for afternoon tea at a cafe in Lower Hutt so that will be great. So apart from that I guess we will just be blobbing around home :)
Hope you are all having a great weekend... talk soon :)

Thanks for the lovely comments on last nights post about hearing the heartbeat... I am still on a high after hearing it. As Steph was out at shooting, he missed the moment but I have suggested to him that he misses shooting for the next appt on 21 June so he can hear it too so hopefully he will be there then :)
Not too much to say really - just been plodding on. Have definitely eaten too much today and feel a bit blah. Just wish I would do some thinking before eating! After having tea tonight, all I felt like was L&P and a pkt of plain salted chips so Steph went for a walk to the diary (about 100 metres) and got them for me and we both pigged out on them and now I feel too full! But have been like that most of the day today so gotta keep an eye on that or I will end up HUGE over the next 24 weeks!!!
Have worked out that there is only 11 more paydays (fortnights) until I go on Parental Leave so guess we better get our butts into gear to get what we need for bubs and also to do our Christmas shopping!!! As both of us have ALL our families getting together this year (i.e. brothers, sisters and children coming from around the world) so its gonna be one expensive year this year!
Right, am heading to bed because despite heading to bed early last night, I was still wide awake at 10.15pm! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR I was getting angry and frustrated with myself which only makes things worse but I eventually fell asleep but of course I had my regular toilet stops during the night too!
Catch ya all later *hugs*

Just a quickie tonight as I am pretty shattered after two late nights and also have a headache so am heading to bed real shortly (as soon as I have finished my update).
MW has just left after another great visit. BP was 107/70 today so slightly different tonight compared to yesterday at hospital but as Edith says they were taken at two totally different times of the day etc so there will be a difference. But guess what?????? I got to hear the Heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!! I am on such a high after hearing that - its one thing seeing bubs and the heartbeat but actually hearing it is so different and so cool! It did take a wee while to locate as the wee blighter just would NOT stay still long enough for Edith to monitor it but eventually we were able to get it... beating about 160 bpm which is great :)
We also covered some other topics but won't go into detail here and bore you all... but am also tired so don't have the energy to type it all out.
Oh in regards to the "twit" from last night - it was a no-show on his behalf - not even a phone call either... so we were quite brassed off. And then just as Edith was leaving tonight the phone rang and it some other "twit" from the company saying he had come out last night but it turned out he went to the neighbours and as they weren't home he just left - he suggested coming out on Saturday to give us the demo but I told him in very few words that we were not at all interested. Phew thats him out of the way.
Right off to bed now... catch ya all later

Hi
I thought I had better do an update before our "visitor" (more on that later) arrives tonight... Not heaps to say though as not a lot has been happening really. Work, work and more work and resting when I can.
Yesterday at work was a full on day but a great day as we had all the SITE Champions (IT guys and gals) from around NZ in the office today for their annual two day conference and the board room is right beside our office so we had people popping in all day introducing themselves as a lot of the SITE champions are also people that we deal with on a day to day basis. It was great putting faces to all the voices. We had also been invited out to the dinner with them all so both L and I went out to the dinner with them and had a ball of a time. We went to Mt Fuji Teypanki (excuse spelling) - a well known Japenese restaraunt in Wellington. For those that haven't been there or had a Japanese experience - it is lots of fun and lots of laughter as all the cooking is done on hot plates in front of you.... 12 people per table with two hot plates in the middle... then the real fun begins with raw eggs thrown at you with you trying to catch them in a bowl - bit of a bugger if you miss them (which a few people did) and then once the eggs are cooked in an omlete form they are chopped up and the chefs throw them at you and you have to catch them in your mouth! Then there is the fun of catching rice in a bowl being thrown at you... so as you can imagine there was lots of laughter and a few messy people by the end of the night. I am pleased to say that I caught the raw egg (well a little bit went up my arm), caught the cooked egg on the 2nd attempt and got the rice no problems at all. They do a set menu and everyone has a bit of everything - I did have one scrumptious well cooked prawn (gave the rest of them away) and then there was a mixture of fish, pork, chicken, rice and vegetables, and beef! By the end of eating all of that. L and I had a fantastic night but I was buggered by the time I crawled into bed about 10.45pm last night!
Was able to have a wee bit of a sleep in today though as I had a hospital appt at 9.30am so was able to stay in bed and dose off and on until about 7.30ish... The hospital appt went really well - BP is great - well so says the MW anyway - it was 110/60 which seems low to me but apparently it does drop during pregnancy and then goes up again??? The Dr I was meant to see was in theatre so there was a first year standing in for him. She was lovely and I have been advised to keep taking my folic acid right through the pregnancy due to my history. I also got another wee peak at bubs as she gave me a very brief scan... this time bubs was very active which was great to see but no peaks at the gender. I have one more appt at the hospital before they "discharge" me from their care so thats all great. I have also made my next appt for my 19 week scan and that is on the 17th June so am counting down to that now. I have realised that the time clashes with my hairdressers so will change the hairdressers to later on that day.
Anyway, enough rambling as the "visitor" is due shortly - oh him - we were dumb enough to sign up to some competition on Saturday at the Home Expo and we have some young twit coming around to try to sell us some fabulous cookware. We were given no contact details for him or the company so have been unable to ring them and cancel... the funny thing is that this twit is from out of town and has no idea where the suburb is that we live let alone trying to find our place which can be quite tricky at times... hehehe So will be interesting to see if he does get here on time and when he does arrive I am going to tell him I am not tired and not feeling to well so to keep it short and sweet and not to bother with the cooking demo!
Right - going now... catch ya all later

Well another weekend almost gone.... bugger they seem to go so damn fast these days! Am still on a high from yesterdays scan and am now counting down till the next one in 4 weeks time.
Had a very quiet night last night - ended up falling asleep on the couch about 9pm and woke with fright at 10pm! And so made my way to bed and crashed for the night! Had a nice sleep in till about 9am this morning... did wake earlier but thought it was raining outside so decided not to get up but when I did get up I found it had all been a frigment of my imagination! Oooops... :)
Fairly quiet morning doing bits and pieces around home before having some delicious home made BLTs for lunch! Then headed down to Lynaires to take her eldest daughter out for a drive as H is currently learning to drive through a driving school and wanted some practice so I went out with H thinking she would only want to be out for about 30mins but we ended up out on the road for almost 2hrs! H did really well and I will probably head out with her again in a few weeks time.
After that, I popped into a friends place on the way home, and caught up with Jo who is due to have her first in August. That hour went real fast before heading home to start cooking a delicious meat loaf for tea. Lynaire and Kev are popping in this evening so best I get moving and get this dinner organised before they arrive...
Hope you all have a good week :)

Hi ya
Thanks for your supportive comments and emails after Thursdays "down" post. Steph got home before I went to bed so I turned the TV and computer off and we sat down and talked and got everything sorted and "kissed and made up" :)
The 2nd day of the course was just as brain draining especially for a Friday afternoon going through the Holidays Act but I must admit the best part was Friday morning when we went through the Parental Leave Act - great timing if I must say so myself :) The food they provided us was great as well. There was the most amazing looking chicken salad both days for lunch but I didn't have any... I stuck to the pizza both days and then on Thursday I had some mini spring rolls and crumbed hot fish pieces as well. Friday it was a piece of pizza along with some bacon and egg pie.
When I got home last night (about 6pm), Steph had done ALL the housework and the house was spick and span :) Was such a nice surprise to come home to that - might have to see if that becomes a regular Friday event but I won't hold my breath :)
We had our scan this morning - am 15 weeks 3 days and all is just fine. Bubs was fast asleep but had a great strong heartbeat which was fantastic to see. S/he was curled up and bum up and showed no sign of moving for us! The sonographer was going to try to find out the sex for us but as bubs was not being very co-operative we have to wait for the next scan in 4 weeks time.
We then went and collected the baby bouncer that we got off Trade Me for $33 - its Winnie the Pooh one and is in excellent condition so am very pleased with that purchase. We do need to sit down with Steph's brother and sister in law to see what they still have from their kids and to see what we can either buy or borrow off them before we go buying to many things. We are going to get a new pram/pushchair though at this stage.
We also popped into the Home Expo that was being held in Petone - got some fantastic ideas but all very costly as well... so will have to add some things to our list of things we want/need to do. Then stopped at Lynaires to pick up our order of Prenzels that she had at her place so had a wee catch up with her and Kev before making tracks home for some lunch.
Just home from the groceries and going to have a quiet night - should go bring in the washing before the sun disappears...
Hope you are all having a good weekend and enjoying the wonderful sunshine.
PS Stopped in at weigh in this morning after the scan since we were more or less right next door to Barbaras place.... thought the scales may have been kinder to me since it was the morning but considering I had just had breakfast and was wearing different clothes.... I gained 1.7 kilos in the last 2wks 2 days... Am ok with that but as I am getting my energy levels back I should be getting back into my walking so that should help with things.

Hi ya
Well definitely not much to say tonight - have had a real brain draining day today on a course and have to sit through another day tomorrow :(
Come home and had the evening from hell with Steph and he has gone off to shooting in a foul mood :(
I think it may just be my damn hormones playing with my emotions but whats his excuse???
Don' think I have the energy to stay up late enough to wait for him to come home as I do hate going to bed angry with each other... but will make an effort to either still be up or otherwise at least still awake when he gets home so we can do some talking.
Am not after sympathy - just needed to express how I am feeling at the moment.
Oh one good thing I guess - although I am not feeling the baby kick etc as it is still too early for me being a first time mum but I am getting lots of "bubbles" and "butterflies" in my lower stomach which is apparently the baby moving around so thats pretty cool.
Right I am outta here - catch ya all later

Evening all
Well not too much to say today but thought I would do an update since I am home alone... :) Work today was pretty full on - had heaps to get done before I go on a course for the next two days and then to top it all off we had an impromptu team meeting this afternoon with some unexpected consequences but to sum things up our temp is now finishing this Friday and will start her new temp role downstairs on Monday. The ad for the permanent position will be in Saturdays paper (and next Wednesdays and again on Saturday) so we are hoping we will get some great applicants this time.
How exciting that Pauline is pregnant after many years of fertility drugs and being told that she would never conceive naturally! So its awesome news that she is due at Christmas time and that Caleb will finally be a big brother! So a big congrats to Pauline, Simon and Caleb - may you have an uneventful next 8mths!
So now there is Kate, Jodie, Jules, Carla (ooops how could I have forgotten you hun especially with the same due dates LOL - thanks for the reminder Kate - blame it on preggy brain), Kim, Pauline, "a mummy losing it", Kimba and of course myself pregnant! So its pretty clear to me that losing weight and becoming healthier and fitter definitely does help with conception! :)
Well not much more to say tonight - might go make some phone calls or catch up with some buddies on MSN... talk to you all later

Hi all
I was all ready to update yesterday but as we are on Xtra we were affected by their network problems that they were having last night. Though on saying that I probably didn't really have much to say...
Both Stephan and I are enjoying the banana cake and chocolate muffins (that I made on Sunday) for morning/afternoon tea each day - oh it is so nice eating home cooking. He is requesting I make another banana loaf so MIGHT do that tomorrow night or over the weekend. I am also "craving" cheese scones and was planning on making those tonight but we don't have enough cheese and don't have the energy to go to the Supermarket and don't want to pay diary prices for it!
Work has been pretty full on over the last couple of days but it is our fortnightly close off so thats nothing new really. The temp is only with us for another couple of weeks and apparently she has been offered another role downstairs so we are waiting to hear if she will take that. The role she is filling in our team is being advertised next week - and it will be a permanent position this time so hopefully we will get someone great in our team.
I won an auction on Sunday night on Trade Me for a baby bouncer so we will be picking that up on Saturday morning after we have our scan. Yeap only 4 more sleeps till we have our next scan for peace of mind... and like a friend said to me I am sure that the build up leading to a scan causes more stress! LOL But we all know everything will be just fine on Saturday and we will see our precious bubba moving around and no doubt it will have grown heaps more in the last 3 weeks.
My eating is not been the best so am trying to kurb it a wee bit before it gets too out of hand. My weight is up about 1 kilo from my last weigh in (almost 2 weeks ago) but still 500gms a week is still too much to gain in my books. I am trying not to worry too much about it but at the same time I don't want to be too relaxed either.
I am trying to find a time that Robyn at the gym is free so I will go and have a chat with her and perhaps see if we can come to some arrangement for me just to use the treadmill and bike a couple times a week but don't want to be doing that and paying the full membership price.
Oh I have been having problems with headaches over the last wee while and apparently it can be quite a common thing to go through at this stage of pregnancy. I am limiting the panadol as much as I can and using the cold flannel on the forehead when at home but at work there is not a lot more I can do.
Anyway, enough rambling from me - catch ya all later.

Just a quickie from me tonight as I am about to head to the bathroom and have a relaxing bubble bath to wind down...
Been quite domesticated today - made a banana cake, double chocolate muffins and a lovely delicious lasagna (spelling?) for dinner served with Garlic Bread :) Yum Yum! So we have our morning teas etc sorted for work this week... have also done a load of washing - hung in the carport but didn't really dry too much so it is now in the lounge on the clothes horse in front of the heater.
We have visited Stephs mum and dropped off her Mothers Day card and present and had afternoon tea there. Have spoken to my mum and got our lunches organised for tomorrow.
Oh Steph said I didn't qualify for Mothers Day today - and that I have to wait till next year... I tried debating this with him (all jokingly of course) but I gave up in the end! LOL
Right have a good week everyone, catch ya all later

Ok I am so full now!!! Have just spent two hours at Rhian's 2nd birthday party!!! OMG - it was so much fun and lots of laughs! :) It was great meeting some of Jo's other friends too - yes she does have other friends..... hehehe only kidding chickeee! You did a great job and I look forward to next year with the games :) I lost track of what I ate but the range of food was HUGE!!!! Rhian was certainly very spoilt and played the princess role very well. Jo did a fantastic job of the cake and am sure she will post some pics on her blog as soon as she gets some spare time :)
So whatelse is new... not a lot really. I am feeling rather good today and went to work yesterday - and survived it! Went to Lynaire and Kev's for tea last night as Steph was away at a shooting competition in Palmerston North (hes due home shortly as hes not staying for the dinner part tonight). Was great catching up with them and must admit I was very apprehensive about having my first night alone in the new house as I am still learning all the new sounds but I am pleased to say I survived it - woke twice for toilet stops and it did take me a wee while to fall back to sleep but once asleep I was fine.
Took my car to VTNZ for a WOF this morning and as there was going to be about a 40 min wait I walked to Steph's parents place to say hello and then as they were going out they dropped me back up there and I discovered that the guy who had done the WOF failed it as he couldn't get into the boot to check the spare tyre which surprised me... This guy was busy so another one came with me to check it again and when I opened the boot I just about fell backwards - it is chocker full of stuff from the move (3 weeks ago now)! It has two suitcases (full of spare duvet inners etc), a spare computer monitor and god knows what else in it! Oooops! Anyway, this guy just laughed and passed the WOF for me!
Home to hang out the washing, put another load on, did the vacuming, hung out the 2nd load then up to Upper Hutt to get Rhians birthday present. I had read Jo's blog this morning and read that she was getting a giant easel with a blackboard and paint board from Jo and Chris so that made a present easier - got her a pkt of giant chalk, some finger paints (hehehe) and a nice top. Home via the bakery for lunch then wrapped the pressie, got changed and shot up to Jo's place.
Was just about to leave Jo's when Stephan sent me a txt saying he was on his way home and "whats for tea" so I replied nothing as I was full of junk food hehehe but I think I will just be having something light - he can have whatever he wants since we have 4 pizza places, 3 curry places, about 8 chinese/fish'n'chip places all within say 2.5kms of us! As well as the usual KFC and McDonalds as well... with a burger king being built at the moment!
Well off to go fold the washing that I have brought in off the line.... not a lot planned for Mothers Day tomorrow so will play that by ear and see what we end up doing.
Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there - hope you all have a great day tomorrow and manage to have a sleep in or a rest anyway...

Well have spent the day at home and apart from getting out of bed about 9ish for some breakfast and to do quick check of emails, I didn't get actually get up until 1pm! Though I was having trouble sleeping as Charlie was not being very co-operative with her bloody squawking etc! So once I had a lovely shower and put my nightie back on I felt a bit better. I had a microwave cottage pie for lunch which was ok I guess but wouldn't want them all the time (it was one we had bought for Steph to take to work...).
So have just been blobbing out again and surfing through TradeMe for baby stuff. I am actually leading an auction for a Winne the Pooh rocker so thats exciting for me! Yeah yeah I know doesn't take much to excite me these days! LOL
Oh just remembered I haven't rung the Midwife to get my results of the urine test I did on Saturday morning though I am sure if it was major she would have touched base with me by now...
As I was lying in bed last night, I thought about my previous blog which I seem to have lost and all the lovely comments I had from you ladies... and I thought I had lost all of the comments however I can still access all of that so I will be doing a lot of copying and pasting to word later on to ensure I don't lose them. Thanks to Helena who emailed me some links to contact blogger for their help so after a bit of work I have emailed them today with my concern so will see if I get some help from them. I did get an automated email back immediately saying that they don't answer all emails personally so for me to try to get help from the blog support group which I have already tried before contacting them... so will give them some time to reply and then will recontact them.
Anyway, thats enough from me for now - might go finish reading my Cosmo Pregnancy Mag :)

Hi ya
Well I think I may have spoken too soon last night about feeling better... despite feeling better this morning and going to work - it was a real struggle to do the work and after being told numerous times that I looked like shit I decided to listen to the "nagging" and headed home about 2.30pm. I have been nauseous all day and despite eating heaps it just wasn't going away... have a headache that comes and goes, an earache that comes and goes and the sniffles so I think I will be spending another day in bed tomorrow and the boss has said to have Friday off as well if needs be but will see how I am Friday morning. I just feel guilty if I have too much time off... gees I hate having a conscience at times!
So once I was home this afternoon, I went straight to bed and slept for about an hour and then forced myself to get up for a while otherwise I will probably end up having problems sleeping tonight. So struggled to have some tea (1 piece of pizza (from the freezer) and a few chips) and now just blobbing out whilst Steph is out at his shooting.
Not much more to say at the moment so will sign off... catch ya all later

Hi ya
Well decided to stay home today and just blob out and stay in bed and do nothing... it is amazing the difference some extra sleep and just relaxing can do for ones mental health :) I feel a lot better and the aches and pains seem to be disappearing and luckily the headache had more or less gone when I woke about 9am.
Blobbed out for a wee while in the lounge with the sun streaming in before having a nice looooong warm shower which really made me feel a lot better - perhaps I should have done that last night or even had a bubble bath... but too late now. Will just remember that next time I am feeling achey etc...
I did put a load of washing out since the sun is shining but watching the sun and the clothesline we really are going to need a new one. We currently have one of those extender line ones which is good but doesn't get full sun coverage whereas we have been discussing removing that one and putting in one of those fold down rotary ones further in the section where it would more or less get sun all day. So that "want" has now moved further to the top of the list of things that need doing around here.
Right thats me for now... might go watch a DVD - catch ya all later

Well so far so good - 24hrs later with my new blog and all is well...
Have had quite a good day today - contemplated getting up for a walk this morning but fell back to sleep... oooops! :) Once up and showered and breakfast, it was time to clean Charlie and the cage before Mum, Daniel and Michelle arrived for lunch. By 11am the house had wonderful roast lamb drifting through it... ohhhh it smelt so good. Then once we got the potatoes and kumera roasting away in the electric frying pan the smell was doubley good! Picked the kids up from the station and then home to do the last minute things for lunch.
Lunch was delicious - roast lamb, roast potatoes and kumera, peas, brocolli and cauliflower with homemade gravy followed by deep dish apple crumble with cream and ice cream!!! OMG we were all so full afterwards so we just blobbed out in the lounge for a while with coffees before tackling the dishes.
Once everyone had gone, I shot up to the Warehouse as I wanted to check out their 30% off all clothing sale but couldn't find anything I liked in either women's wear or baby wear.
Have just had a couple pieces of toast with cold roast lamb on it for tea.... and hopefully our friends Lynaire and Kev will be popping in for a coffee and to check out the house. Have got my lunch all ready for tomorrow so just gotta get my bag packed and all will be done.
Hope you have all had a good weekend.

Hi again
Well seems like my other page has been either "hijacked" or just hacked... so am not impressed but luckily I was able to access the template and settings still so it made the job of creating a new blog a lot easier.
Not too much to report really since weigh in on Thursday (my last update). Friday was a full on day at work and 4pm couldn't come around quick enough. But we did get the front door finally sorted so I think all the inital "hiccups" have been sorted now. There is still heaps we want to do - more window locks, painting, curtains etc... but am sure we will get there over a period of time when we have the money. Also got the lawyers bill which shocked me a bit but luckily I found an error in it which could have cost us $400 which we don't have to spare.
Today I had a sleep in till just after 8.30am which to me is almost 3hrs later than I get up during the week so it is a sleep in :) Had to go to Valley Diagnostics to do a Urine Test as MW thinks I may have a UTI so am drinking lots of water and also cranberry juice but will wait and see the test results come back with. Have done the housework and unpacked a few boxes of photos and ceramics etc and placed them around the lounge - so really makes our house now feel like home! But as we are one set of shelves short (no room in the lounge) there are still a few left in the box and once we get the shelves etc set up in the spare room I will be able to place the extra bits on it then.
Have got my mum and my sisters two younger kids coming around for lunch tomorrow - having the roast leg of lamb that has been in the freezer since we got that 1/2 a sheep a wee while ago. Also having apple pie and ice cream for dessert - yum yum!
Anyway, its almost 10pm now and I am shattered -thanks to those of you who have txt me and emailed me with your concern at not being able to get into my site... so change your links and favourites to show this blog now :)
Catch ya all later
